Children's Safety: Nearly 10,000 school students died in road accidents in 2024, underscoring the need for enhanced safety measures around educational institutions.
Accidents Near Schools: The 2024 e-DAR report indicates that 4.6% of road accidents occurred in school and college zones, emphasizing the importance of road safety audits in these areas.
Emergency Response: Timely medical intervention remains crucial. A recent survey revealed that the success rate of ambulances reaching accident scenes on core highways has reduced to 72%, highlighting the need for improved emergency services.
